Last updated: 12 August 2026 · Applies to www.seekahost.email

SeekaHost.email is for consent-based email only. This policy protects every sender’s deliverability by keeping abusive sending off the platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination.

1.Send to people who asked

You may only send email to recipients who have given valid consent to hear from you, or where you have another lawful basis and comply with UK GDPR and PECR (or the equivalent laws that apply to your recipients). Double opt-in is required and cannot be turned off. If you can’t show that someone agreed to receive your email, don’t send to them.

2.Lists & imports

  • No bought, rented, scraped, harvested or otherwise undocumented lists.
  • Your first import may be reviewed before sending is enabled, and we may ask how you obtained consent.
  • Keep records of when and how each subscriber opted in.
  • Remove anyone who unsubscribes, bounces or complains — the platform does this automatically, and you must not re-add them.

3.Prohibited content

You must not use the Service to send or promote:

  • Anything unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading, including phishing and impersonation.
  • Malware, viruses, or links to malicious or harmful sites.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence.
  • Sexually explicit material, or content harmful to children.
  • Regulated or prohibited goods and services where you are not authorised, or promotion that breaches advertising or financial-promotion rules.
  • Anything that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.

4.Prohibited activities

  • Sending unsolicited email (spam) of any kind.
  • Falsifying sender information, headers or routing details.
  • Harvesting addresses, or using the Service to test or send to purchased data.
  • Evading, removing or disabling the unsubscribe mechanism.
  • Attempting to breach security, disrupt the Service, or gain unauthorised access.
  • Reselling or sub-licensing the Service except as expressly permitted (for example, agency brands on an eligible plan).

5.Deliverability & limits

Sending is monitored to protect the shared reputation of the platform. You are expected to keep your bounce and complaint rates low — as a guide, hard bounce rates below 2% and spam-complaint rates below 0.1%. Sustained high rates, or sudden unusual volumes, may lead us to pause your sending while we investigate. We may apply sending limits and pacing to protect deliverability for everyone.

6.Unsubscribe & suppression

Every email must keep a working one-click unsubscribe and a valid sender address. Unsubscribe requests are honoured immediately. Hard bounces are suppressed as they happen, and spam complaints are suppressed across your account permanently. You must not attempt to email anyone who has unsubscribed, bounced or complained.

7.Monitoring & enforcement

We may review sending patterns, complaint and bounce data, and — where necessary to investigate abuse or comply with law — message content. If you breach this policy we may, depending on the seriousness: warn you, throttle or pause your sending, remove content, suspend or terminate your account, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. We aim to be proportionate, but we act quickly where deliverability or the law is at risk.

8.Reporting abuse

If you have received email through SeekaHost.email that you believe breaks this policy, please tell us at abuse@seekahost.email. We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within one working day.

9.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to keep the platform safe and compliant. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above.
